What To Expect

Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park

Leave Arusha this morning with a picnic lunch that you’ll enjoy in Lake Manyara National Park, an UNESCO biosphere. This first game drive will introduce you to a great variety of big game from lions to elephants. In the early evening continue up the Rift Valley escarpment to Isoitok Manyara Camp, which is set upon the hill looking at the Great Rift Valley and enjoys commanding and panoramic views of Lake Manyara and the surrounding area.

Day 2

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park

LAKE MANYARA Today you have the option of guided ethno-botanical walks at the top of the Rift escarpment, or you can return to Manyara National Park for another game drive. Mountain biking, hiking, cultural village walks, guided nature and forest walks, are also available at a small additional charge.

Day 3

Ngorongoro crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning you drive through the farming areas of Karatu onto the spectacular rainforest rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive your lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive on the crater floor. Game viewing at any time of the year is often the best of every safari! Meals and overnight at the lodge on the rim of the crater, with fantastic views.

Day 4

Serengeti

Serengeti National Park

SERENGETI Morning drive into the Serengeti National Park, stopping en-route at Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of mankind. The Serengeti — undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world — is home to an incredible number of animals and is unequaled for its natural beauty. During your three days, you’ll enjoy the excitement of an adventure camp set up actually in the park. At night the sounds of Africa are guaranteed to form some of your most lasting memories!

Day 5

Safari, Arusha to Airport

Arusha Region

A quick morning flight returns you to Arusha, where you’ll be met and shown around town. Time for shopping before lunch at a popular local restaurant. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to a hotel adjacent Kilimanjaro Airport where private rooms are available before the evening departures.
