What To Expect

Kilimanjaro Day hike will take you to Mandara Hut at an elevation of 2720 meters above sea level. The hike to Mandara Hut will take 4 to 5 hours ascend and. 4 to 3 hours descending Along the way to Mandara Hut, you will spot the various species of monkeys such as black, white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our knowledgeable and experienced guides will give you all the necessary information about Mount Kilimanjaro and explain the different species of plants and animals you will come across along the way. On reaching Mandara Hut you will enjoy a well-earned lunch and rest before proceeding with the hike for 15 minutes to the Maundi Crater. Here you will enjoy wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya across the border. After the great 3 to 5 hours hike, you will then begin the descending adventure returning to the Marangu Gate. Your vehicle will be waiting for you for a transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.
